Kings Harbor is a dynamic waterfront, mixed-use, pedestrian-oriented village consisting of 40-acres and located in the heart of northeast Houston. Owned and developed by the Midway Companies, Burton Construction was able to provide several pricing alternates that resulted in cost savings without affecting the overall quality of the project. Burton Construction provided value engineering in concrete, masonry, thermal protection, roofing, glass and glazing, curtain wall system, pre-cast parking structure, mechanical design-build and project hardscape. Kings Harbor was staffed with specific trade-oriented superintendents in order to focus on every major aspect of the project. We also carefully selected subcontractors who had a proven record and specialized in mixed-use construction.
