HOUSTON, (November 1, 2016): Burton Construction has marked a new milestone by passing the 20th construction project mark with long standing client, Neighbors Emergency Center, the core business line of Neighbors Health. The award winning business has an enviable portfolio of projects, including hospitality, medical, retail centers, office, industrial, manufacturing facilities, mixed use environments and multi-family projects. Burton’s formidable presence in the commercial construction industry is anchored in their philosophy to build long standing relationships with their clients and colleagues in the design and construction community.
Neighbors Emergency Center (NEC), established eight years ago by a group of medical professionals, aims to change healthcare through high levels of accessible patient care, by utilizing purpose-built, modern facilities in communities across Texas and beyond. Burton has become a trusted associate to NEC, completing 17 projects to date, with another four currently under construction. This takes the total number of NEC medical facility projects awarded to the builder to 21, constructing 126,341 square feet across Texas, from El Paso to Orange and Paris to Harlingen.
Commenting on growth plans for Burton Construction, Shawn McAlpin, President, said: “Our solid foundation, established by our founder Brad Burton, has enabled us to build trusted relationships with clients over the years. We are known for delivering high quality work, adding value to each project, and focusing on clear communication to limit the amount of time our clients need to invest in the day to day construction process. This laser focus won’t change as we embark on the next 20 years of our business journey.”
He adds: “Culture is important to us at Burton. Our staff demonstrates integrity and professionalism in every aspect of their work and these values are something that our clients appreciate. Repeat business comes down to strength of relationships and our relationship with Neighbors is a testimony to the level of trust that we aim to achieve with all of our clients.”
Bruce McVeigh, Chief Operating Officer, at Neighbors Health, explains why the relationship has been so successful to date: “There are great synergies between NEC and Burton Construction, which has led to the
team being a great ally across a number of our medical facility build projects, helping us with our growth. Both of our organizations are focused on high quality, and we know and trust their people who are the real strength in their operation.”
